He was member of the National Socialist German Workers Union (NSDAP), since 1932 NSDAP-Ortsgruppenleiter in Wilhelmshorst since 1934, furthermore member of the "Nationalsozialistischer Kampfbund für deutsche Kultur" of NS-Race-Ideologist Alfred Rosenberg. After the war in late 1945, he was probably hanged in a Sowjet Internment Camp. In 1956, he was officially declared to have died in late 1945.
